We’ve conducted our business since 1949 and the manufacturing technology for the extraction, separation, and purification of particular components of botanicals has earned us a distinguished reputation internationally. We have been using a word “Phytochemical” as our company name earliest in the world, since 1949, because we believe that phytochemicals must be becoming indispensable for human health and well-being in the 21st century. And, the word “Phytochemical” finally came to be recognized widely today.
The head quarter of TOKIWA is located in Chiba Prefecture, south east of Tokyo (60 min’s drive from downtown Tokyo / 20 min’s drive from Narita Airport). Head office, laboratory, industrial plants, and herb garden are on a spacious 40,000 m2 site. Our branch for sales and marketing is located at Nihonbashi in Tokyo where a large concentration of pharmaceutical companies is found.
Our main objective is to continue focusing on ability of plant, i.e., “Phytochemistry”, and providing high-quality, safe products by using the best materials, our extensive knowledge, and proven technology. As the phytochemical specialist, we are confident that we can meet your needs.

Quality control Division manages quality of products carefully and strictly. We must obey GMP standard for obedience with compliance. Also, we must obey not only compliance and also traceability of ingredients, “Positive List System for Agricultural Chemical Residues in foods”. So, we will take you the excellent quality and more safely product. In addition, TOKWIA regularly audit them in order to ensure these standards.
TOKIWA provide training and education for employees in order to promote awareness among them in terms of appropriate responsibility and dignity, and to produce the excellent quality products by the superior technology in the market. Specially, we focus on supplying facility safety and facility products for meeting your satisfaction.
